Soon, you will be taking a polygraph examination with Integrity Polygraph LLC. There are several things about the examination process we would like you to know:
1. Your examination will be conducted by a highly trained and qualified polygraph examiner.
2. It is normal to be nervous about polygraph testing. Everything concerning the process will be explained to you during the appointment and your examiner will be happy to answer any questions you may have before the test begins.
3. The following directions are provided to ensure you are ready for your examination:
- Ensure you are well-rested for your examination.
- If you take prescription medications, do so in accordance with your prescription. If you are taking over-the-counter medications, also use them in accordance with the instructions. Know what drugs you take and why you take them. DO NOT stop taking any prescription drug because of the test.
- If you are suffering from any illness or experiencing cold-like symptoms within 24 hours of your appointment, notify us immediately and reschedule your examination for a later date. You will not be tested if you are ill or injured when you arrive for your examination.
- Dress casually and appropriately. Your comfort during the examination is very important.
- Arrive at your appointment about 15 minutes early. Do not be late. Examinations are scheduled well in advance and often, back to back. Therefore, you will possibly be assessed a late fee and rescheduled if you arrive more than 15 minutes late.
- No one will be allowed to accompany you for the examination. Therefore, it is unnecessary to bring anyone with you. However, if others do arrive with you, they may wait at one of the local coffee shops in the area.
- Do not consume any alcohol or illegal drugs within 24 hours before your examination.
- Allow about 2 hours for your examination. This is the average time required.
4. Failure to follow any of these instructions will cause a delay or cancellation of your examination.
